Reunion newsletter - edition #1 (May2012)

Reunion 2001 was good, 2010 was better, and we expect the family reunion of 2013 to be the best! 

A lesson learnt from the last reunion was how information was shared. This time around we will be maintaining a newsletter, that will contain all the latest information. The newsletter will be shared in 3 ways -

Via email; via snail mail - for those not on-line (send Gary postal addresses so it can be distributed); via blog posts. The edition number will tell you which one is the latest.

Please let us know early if you plan to be there. 

As we plan for August 2013, it would be very helpful to know how many people are going to be there. We need an answer to one of these 3 questions -

1. Are you definitely going to at the reunion (and how many)?
2. Are you still thinking about it?
3. You will definitely not be at the reunion?

Condo Rios 2010 was a resounding success

I can say with no reservation whatsoever that 12 - 16 August at Condo Rios was a resounding success.


Laughter, togetherness, hugging, kissing, singing, dancing, banter, swimming, playing, sunning, dominoes, Uno, kalooki, eating (and just a little bit of predictable quarrelling) made for a great weekend of family fun.


It was great to connect again with old friends within the family and to meet new members and to be pleasantly surprised to get to know the young ones who are becoming adults.  It was a wonderful opportunity to bond and celebrate the blood that unites us all.


So sorry that we had so many members who were unable to attend, but I'm hoping that we'll have a larger group for 2015... venue to be confirmed!
